I am not less intelligent, less enlightened, less capable or less caring because I am a conservative Christian. I would rather teach someone to fish, then give them a fish every day.
"At the end of the day, we can have the most dedicated teachers, the most supportive parents and the best schools in the world, and none of it will matter unless all of you fulfill your responsibilities,"
That is the definition of what your saying blog mole.
An anology of it takes a village to raise a child, is also the thought of how we take care of each other and our neighbors.
To do so, we all contribute to the greater good, to have a pool of wealth instead of the greed of one.
To create schools, programs, and socities where we can all learn, and to grow in.
That is what health care choices would do, to give to all, but only if we have choices in taking from it, and to giving to it, which Obama's health care reform would do.
By creating schools, health care facilities, civic centers, gyms, parks, and all that our great country could do, would give everyone the equal opportunity to grow.
To only care about oneself, and to only promote one way of thinking is to limit all knowledge and to take away not to teach.

ReplyDeleteDo you feel that being conservative is better because you feel religion backs it?
Do you think that the world is flat, that the sun circles the earth?
Faith is not a sign of itelligence or non intelligence, but like with everything in life its how you use it.
If you use it to promote a personal agenda to make everyone look, act and behave like you than thats a form of slavery.
religion is not the only way to learn to fish. People have been fishing way before christ was born.
ReplyDeleteIt's an analogy. It doesn't have anything to do with religion. You teach them how to care for themselves, not take care of them.
